The new Armani store at Ingolstadt Village represents one of the most refined retail projects of the year. Located in one of Germany’s leading designer outlets, the store combines architectural elegance with advanced technology and a strong focus on sustainability.

An International Concept – First Implementation in Germany

At the heart of the project was the implementation of the Armani Outlet Concept 2025. Following the prototype store in England, the Ingolstadt Village location is only the second store worldwide to feature this new concept.

The design was meticulously realised across 290 m² of sales area, complemented by 129 m² of back-of-house space, and carefully adapted to the specific conditions of the site.

Comprehensive Modernisation Down to the Last Detail

Over the course of several weeks, the store underwent a complete transformation. The scope of work included:

• installation of an automatic entrance door

• drywall and painting works

• installation of new floor tiles

• a full electrical setup including power and data cabling

• installation of a new sound system

• assembly of the metal panel baffle ceiling

• HVAC and ventilation works

• sanitary installations

The refurbishment was further enhanced by the implementation of the Value Retail sustainability concept.

State-of-the-Art Safety and Building Technology

Particular attention was given to safety-related systems, including:

• emergency lighting

• voice alarm systems

• smoke detectors

• electronic article surveillance

• alarm systems

• CCTV monitoring

Modern water-saving restroom facilities and a MOD bus consumption monitoring system complete the technically sophisticated and sustainable overall concept.

Sustainability in Line with Value Retail Standards

A key highlight of the project was the implementation of HVAC and lighting systems in full compliance with the strict Value Retail sustainability standards. The result is a store that not only impresses visually but also meets the highest expectations in terms of energy efficiency and long-term performance.

The response to the completed store has been overwhelmingly positive. Both the client and the on-site team are extremely satisfied with the outcome, and the landlord has expressed great enthusiasm – describing this Armani store as the most beautiful one in the entire Ingolstadt Village.
