With the opening of the new STENDERS store at Minto Mönchengladbach, we have once again successfully completed a project – and what a project it is! On around 140 square meters, we have translated the unique Nordic lifestyle of the STENDERS brand into the architecture – from the tiles to the curtains, from the water island to the wallpaper.

A project with high standards – from A to Z

As the first of four stores planned by the bk Group in Germany, Mönchengladbach marks a special milestone. Our task: to bring STENDERS quality to the store in Germany. To do this, we redesigned the furniture and had it made to measure, reworked all surfaces, implemented our own lighting concepts and even had individual steel shelves and lights produced. Standard? No such thing with us.

Complete fit-out in record time

The entire store was fitted out in just six weeks – from May 12 to the opening on June 26. Floor, ceiling, wall, sanitary, electrical, furniture construction, advertising system, surveillance technology – the full program. The coordination with the Westfield Centers, which include the Minto, the depth of detail in furniture and lighting production and the tight timing placed the highest demands on our team – and were mastered with flying colors.

Impressed by the result

The customer is delighted with both the result and the smooth collaboration. And we are already looking forward to the next projects – including in Bochum, Oberhausen and Viernheim.
