Düsseldorf – September 2021
The bk Group AG celebrates the biggest sustainability success in the company’s history at the Sustainable Impact Award 2021!
We are especially proud to have won second place in a great round at the Sustainable Impact Award 2021. The jury around Wirtschaftswoche editor-in-chief Beat Balzli, Generali Germany CEO Giovanno Liverani and Prof. Dr. Petra Moog, Chair for Entrepreneurship & Family Business at the University of Siegen, initially selected 4 finalists from over 150 applications received in the category “Impact on Earth”. In this top-class round the bk Group AG could celebrate a great success.
With the Sustainable Impact Award WirtschaftsWoche and Generali Versicherungen support the relevance of corporate sustainability without greenwashing! They want to show how the course can be set for sustainable business models and social responsibility in German medium-sized companies. The “Impact on Earth” category honors medium-sized companies that are aware of environmental issues and develop holistic solutions for successful green business.
Sustainability is an essential part of the corporate philosophy of the bk Group AG. Our sustainability concept is based on the pillars of ecology, economy and social issues. Through years of intensive efforts and several measures in the company as well as in the company processes and products, we were not only able to neutralize our CO2 emissions, but even overcompensate them. This makes the bk Group AG climate positive.
We would like to thank the Handelsblatt Media Group for the great evening in Düsseldorf and congratulate the exemplary winners Africa GreenTec AG and Elobau GmbH & Co. KG. very warmly.
If everyone does their part to create a more sustainable world, we can do great things!
