In June and July, the bk Group AG extended the Elbenwald fan shop in Amsterdam’s main shopping street on a total of 260 square metres.

More than two floors of sales space as well as three floors of back office and storage area were part of the project.

The premises are complemented by an additional office space for the future Benelux branch. Due to the very narrow sales area of the store in the middle of Amsterdam’s old town, special furniture had to be designed and manufactured. In addition, the complete infrastructure of the building was overhauled during the interior fit-out.

The listed building is now state of the art in terms of electrical wiring, air conditioning, door air curtains and alarm.

The speedy completion of the building work ultimately made it possible to open the new store quickly.
