Since 16 October 2025, visitors to the newly opened WaltherPark Bolzano have been able to enjoy a very special destination: the new Rituals store, with a total area of 146 m², is a modern oasis of calm in the heart of South Tyrol’s capital. Divided into 105 m² of retail space, 30.6 m² of back-of-house space and an external warehouse measuring 35 m², the store combines stylish design, high-quality materials and the brand’s unmistakable atmosphere.
Precision in new construction: renovation with special challenges
The expansion began on 3 June and was completed on 9 October 2025 – despite a construction break of several weeks, during which the completion of centre work had to be waited for in order to install the façade. The project was part of the comprehensive new construction of the WaltherPark Centre, in which the bk Group, as usual, took on the entire interior construction – from drywall construction, painting, electrical, air conditioning, ventilation and plumbing work to floor coverings and furniture assembly to final cleaning.
Coordination at the highest level
As the store was being built in a new building, close coordination with the centre’s trades and the property developer was essential. The large number of parallel tasks required the utmost attention in order to minimise external influences on the construction progress. Logistics also posed a challenge – material deliveries had to be precisely scheduled and coordinated with long delivery routes in order to consistently adhere to the construction deadlines.
Unexpected twist – and quick solution
Shortly before handover, water damage flooded the back of house. Within just three days, the entire area – including walls and floors – was completely rebuilt without damaging the sales area. Thanks to the quick and professional response of the bk Group team, the planned opening date was still met.
Successful opening and satisfied partners
The result was impressive across the board: 100% performance, 100% satisfaction – the customer, tradespeople, centre management and property developers were delighted with the implementation and collaboration. The opening of the Rituals store and the entire WaltherPark Centre was a complete success – with record sales on the opening day.
