Located in one of Berlin’s most prominent areas, bk Group delivered a comprehensive refurbishment of an Apollo store. Between mid-February and early April 2026, a retail space of 188 square metres was transformed into a modern environment aligned with current technical and design standards.

The project began with a complete strip-out of the existing space, followed by a full rebuild in line with updated requirements. The scope of works covered all relevant trades, including drywall, flooring, painting, electrical installations, HVAC systems and shopfitting.

A key element of the project was the implementation of the Beautification Plus concept, which involved adapting the sales area and OD room to the latest design guidelines. As part of this upgrade, the entire electrical infrastructure was renewed, from power and data cabling to distribution systems and a new server cabinet.

Lighting was fully converted to energy-efficient LED technology. The existing air conditioning systems, some of which were over 25 years old, were replaced with modern solutions tailored to current performance standards.

The latest Apollo shopfitting concept was implemented, with furniture and colour design aligned with Apollo and Luxottica specifications, resulting in a coherent and contemporary store environment.

The outcome speaks for itself: the client expressed high satisfaction with both execution and final appearance. A project that demonstrates bk Group’s expertise in upgrading retail spaces to meet future demands.
