The last element of the bk Social Day 2023 has been successfully placed at its final location: the boulder cube! It is now located at the main building of the Creglingen Youth Welfare Centre. After its completion during the bk Social Day in July, it was transported from the building yard to Creglingen and securely anchored there.

For the ceremonial inauguration of the boulder cube, the mayor of Creglingen, Uwe Hehn, was present in addition to employees of Jugendhilfe Creglingen, including the chairman of the board, Helmut Wörrlein, and the managing director, Werner Fritz. The Creglingen building yard was represented by Ms Elke Schmeiser and bk Group CEO Gerold Wolfarth was also present at the press event.

All those involved emphasised the excellent cooperation during the entire bk Social Day project and the resulting boulder cube. It is an outstanding joint effort that increases the attractiveness of Creglingen. The Creglingen Youth Welfare Service once again expressed its gratitude for the great cooperation during the bk Social Day, during which more than 200 employees of the bk Group did good things together for the youth welfare service.

Mayor Uwe Hehn emphasised that the bouldering cube is not only an asset for the youth, but also for the attractiveness of the town of Creglingen as a whole. On the publicly accessible sports field, this extraordinary cube strengthens the sense of community and the sporting activities of the citizens.

Gerold Wolfarth explained the background of the bk Social Day and emphasised the enthusiasm of the bk Group employees, who continued to talk about their great experience during the project for a long time. He also thanked the various partners and sponsors who had provided the necessary material at a reduced price.

He emphasised how pleased he was that the jointly created work was now standing in his home town and benefiting the community, especially the youth.
