With the new store at Ingolstadt Village, bk Group delivered its first project for Crocs, creating a strong brand presence at one of Germany’s leading outlet destinations.

Within a net construction period of six weeks, a fully fitted-out store was realised across approximately 100 square metres of sales area and around 50 square metres of back-of-house space. Works commenced in early December and were successfully completed at the end of January, including a planned holiday break. The store opened as scheduled.

Complete interior fit-out from stripped shell

bk Group carried out the entire interior fit-out from a stripped shell condition. New drywall partitions including painting works were installed, floor levelling was completed and new tiled and vinyl flooring was laid.

The team also implemented a new electrical distribution system including modern lighting and a server rack, as well as HVAC and sanitary installations. A sliding entrance door with air curtain was integrated, and all sales furniture and kitchen elements were assembled. Door installations, voice alarm systems and safety lighting were executed, and all required inspections including energy certification were successfully completed.

High standards, precisely delivered

As a first project for a new client, the store came with specific requirements. The sustainability guidelines and detailed execution standards of the Village had to be strictly adhered to while aligning seamlessly with the Crocs design concept.

An additional technical factor was the ceiling height of nearly eight metres, requiring careful coordination and precise execution of all structural and technical elements.

A successful debut

The result speaks for itself: the client expressed strong satisfaction, and the store opened exactly as planned.
