In Graz, Austria, the new Pearle store was successfully completed in just under seven weeks. From October 6 to November 20, 2025, bk Group carried out the comprehensive refurbishment, transforming two existing units into a spacious and modern retail store.
With approximately 290 m² of sales area and 21 m² of back-of-house space, the store now presents itself as open, clearly structured, and perfectly aligned with the demands of modern retail operations.
Comprehensive Fit-Out with High Technical Standards
The scope of work included the complete reinstallation of electrical systems as well as HVAC and sanitary installations. This was complemented by drywall works including a closed ceiling, new floor finishes, and the implementation of all relevant fire protection and safety measures, such as a fire alarm system, emergency lighting, and sprinkler systems. In addition, two roller shutters were overhauled and the façade was refurbished – an important step in achieving a cohesive overall appearance both inside and out.
Merging Two Units and a New Project Structure
A special feature of this project was the merger of two stores into one unified retail space. At the same time, the project marked the first collaboration with a newly established client-side project team in Austria, requiring close and constructive coordination – which was successfully achieved.
Positive Feedback and Successful Collaboration
The client expressed a high level of satisfaction with both the final result and the overall project execution. This successful completion once again underlines bk Group’s strength in delivering complex retail projects – even across national borders.
